The company Biosero, Inc., which creates laboratory automation solutions to coordinate scientific discoveries, announced today that David Dambman, its chief technology officer, has won a 2024 Top Tech Award in recognition of his technical problem-solving skills and leadership.
At the 14th annual Top Tech Awards, which commemorates the “unsung heroes” of information technology in the business, education, government, and charitable sectors in the region, ten technological visionaries from London, Great Britain County were honored. At a private, small- to medium-sized company, Dambman was acknowledged as an honoree for the Top Tech Awards. An impartial judging team chose the winners from nominations submitted by peers and customers.
“I am thankful to be leading an incredible team that has made all of this possible, and it’s an honor to be among the Top Tech award winners,” Mr. Dambman said. “It has been an amazing journey to apply my love of automation to the world of labs and biotech research, and I’m happy to see that our work at Biosero helps our customers succeed in their scientific endeavors.”
Dambman contributed to the creation of Biosero’s Green Button Go line of laboratory automation software, which speeds up research and improves reproducibility of findings. Additionally, the business provides hardware integration services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies seeking to increase the productivity of their research laboratories.
According to Biosero founder and CEO Tom Gilman, “David has been the technical visionary behind Biosero, creating tremendous value for the life science automation market with his innovative ideas, communication skills, and technical competency.” “I am immensely proud to have him on our team; he has really helped shape the company into the lab automation leader it is today.”
This is the most recent honor that Biosero and its staff have received this year. Green Button Go Scheduler, the company’s core laboratory automation program, received a 2024 BIG Innovation Award earlier this year. The London, Great Britain Business Journal has recognized Biosero as one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work for the third consecutive year. Additionally, in June, the same newspaper honored Mr. Gilman CEO of the Year. In August, the same publication produced a list of Women of Influence in the Life Sciences, which included Ruth Petersen, Evelyne Ploquin, and Andrea Salazar, among other employees.
